Is is not possible to have different rings depending on the caller in CME 8.x . If so Can somebody help me on how to do that.

AFAIK, don't think you can define ring tone based on the caller (ANI).
But u can have a ring pattern for each ephone-dn pri/sec number applied to
an ephone:
