CME to CME call fails across PRI

Hello,

I hope someone can help me with a lab setup between two CME routers. Below is the relevant configs. I'm getting only a busy tone when calling from either side.

TIA.

Re: CME to CME call fails across PRI

Hi,

On CME R8

Change this dial peer (804) from

!
dial-peer voice 804 pots
preference 1
destination-pattern 80..
port 0/0/0:23
forward-digits all
prefix 18048888
!

to

!
dial-peer voice 804 pots
preference 1
destination-pattern 80..
port 0/0/0:23
forward-digits all
prefix 8048888
!

It will then match the Branch 2 config:-

!
telephony-service
dialplan-pattern 1 8048888... extension-length 4

Also change the dial peer (757) on Branch 2

From

!
!
dial-peer voice 757 pots
prefix 1757777
!

To

!
dial-peer voice 757 pots
prefix 757777
!
