Hi All,
Can anyone explain the difference of 9.T and 9T when configuring the transfer or call forward pattern? Is it with the same result?
Many thanks

Hi,
I understand that the transfer-pattern has the same syntax than destination-pattern.
So 9.T means any number of two more digits that begins with 9, and 9T means any number that begins with 9, including 9.

My understanding ...
Both '9.T' & '9T' match the same dial digits; any dial string beginnning with '9' including just '9'. The 'T' indicates the interdigit timeout.
The dot is for discarding digits such as in route patterns using the Discard Digits field under Called Party Transformation section. You can select 'PreDot' to remove the predot 9 from the dial string which commonly used for external call route patterns.

Stephen,
The question was for a CME scenario in which no 'route patterns' exists, because there is no CM.
So you will have the syntax used in IOS by dial-peer.
