CME version 7.0.1 PROBLEM WITH THE DIAL TONE

Hi

We have one CME version 7.0.1 connected with the PSTN network with two different connections

One with PRI and the other with analogue lines

We dial 9 for the PRI and 8 for the analogue lines

WITH THE  PRI

Now the issue is that when we dial 9 we have to wait for  dialtone and then dial the number otherwise if we dial 9 and immediately dial the number then we cant establish the call.

WITH THE ANALOGUE LINES

When we dial 8 and the number immediately then everyhting its ok and we dont have to wait for dial tone

Could you pls advice?

Hi,

Can you show the dial peers that make the calls to the PRI

It may be that you need to remove the command secondary-dialtone 9

!

telephony-service

no secondary-dialtone 9

!

But it depends on the dial peers

Hi mate,

Could you show configuraton for "inter serial 0/0/0:15" and "debug isdn q931" for calls to PRI when you wait for dialtone?

Also, did you try increasing the interdigit timeout to, say, 10 seconds?

telephony-service

timeouts interdigit 10

Hi mate

encapsulation hdlc

no logging event link-status

isdn switch-type primary-net5

isdn timer T310 60000

isdn incoming-voice voice

end

with the  increasing timeouts interdigit  to 10 then i think we will wait much more when the CME send the call to the ISP or not?
