CMM 5.1 Can you use the IP instead of DNS name for the Voice Gateway

Hi we have CMM 5.1. Can you use the IP of the voice gateway/router instead of DNS name in the Voice Gateway settings within CCM5.1. We are trying to make in/out bound calls which is not working. There is a configuration issue between the CCM5.1 and Voice Gateway. All help will much respected. Thanks Robert

Try to use just hostname in your CM if it's MGCP gateway.

If this is MGCP you must use the hostname.

I suggest using "show ccm | i Name" to figure out exactly what you should put there.
