conferecing with callmanager 4.2

hi,

i ahev call manager 4.2 version .when i am trying conferencing ,i am getting a mesage that "no bridge configured".but for standarrd conferencing bridge is needed?

please find the steps i tried below,

made a call to extension,then more-->confrn

then that phone will be on hold,and dialled another number ,then pressed confrn again.but the first call is not joining to conference.if i press confrn again getting message "no bridge found".is there any other settings in seevic e parameter or somewhere for the same to work?

please help..

yes, any conference needs a CFB. otherwise who would mix the audio???

configure properly your MRG, MRGL and CFB and you will be able to do conference

hi .

there is no standard basic conferencing with out a conference bridge?atleast for three users?do i need to buy conference bridge for this?

callmanager is fresh installation and no other features configured.

please help..

yes, SW CFB needs to be up and running and registered, you can only use G711 with it.

check the MRGL from your phones and make sure you have the CFB there, or check the MRGL from device pool. you need to grant access to the media resource so you can use it.

mrgl is not enabled in device pool..

what do i need to do for this?
