Conference calls dropped after 5 to 15 min.

Hi all,

I am having such an extrange problem. I have a CM with 6.1.3 with a MGCP Gateway 2851. When conferencing with numbers outside the network, after a while, it becomes released with this reason:

*Jul 2 16:04:47.037: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: TX -> DISCONNECT pd = 8 callref = 0x0A39

Cause i = 0x80A9 - Temporary failure

I have the CM configured with g711/g722 for intraregion conferencing and g729 for interregion conferencing.

The gateway is not configured as conferencing bridge. Must I?

Any clue¿?

that means u r using cucm as cfb ?

any firewall in the middle?

try to change codecs all to g711 to avoid transcoding and re-test

any error in RTMT

its better if we can get tac online to check ccm traces

Yes, CUCM is used as cfb. There is no FW in the middle.

I have just changed the codecs into g711 all. Let's c how it behaves now.

Still not working. It is showing the same message and the time is fluctuating.

By the way, the calls are originated from a conference station connected to an ATA.

Could it be this the root cause?

Hi,

I had a similar issue with MGCP gateways and conferences.Though in my case it was becuase of the mute button. The bug number is CSCdv05532. The workaround is to enter the following command in global configuration mode

MGCPVG(config)#no mgcp timer receive-rtcp

If no good look for a similar bug in you IOS train you are using
