Hello fellow NetPros
We'll be starting a new Cisco IP Telephony project in Brazil next week. Since this is our first install for Brazil we have some doubts regarding the E1 trunks form the service provider. Aside from trying to get this information from the service provider (Embratel) I would like to know If anyone here has implemented E1 ISDN PRI trunks from Embratel and what the recommended configuration would be.
Best regards.

PRi is the same everywhere. Configuration is the same as other E1 countries.

Here is what worked for me:
network-clock-participate wic 0
network-clock-select 1 E1 0/0/0
isdn switch-type primary-net5
controller E1 0/0/0
framing NO-CRC4
pri-group timeslots 1-31
HTH,
Chris
