Configuration help with France Telecom T2 connection
I have a "T2" connection from France Telecom. An ISDN30 (E1) was requested. Handoff is RJ45. A standard E1 config is not working. Does anyone have experience with T2 connections? As best I can tell, a T2 is essentially the same as an E1. Router is a 3845, connection can be H323 or MGCP back to a Call Manager. I could use help on the controller and serial configuration.
Right now I have:
controller E1 0/1/0 pri-group timeslots 1-31
interface Serial0/1/0:15 no ip address encapsulation hdlc isdn switch-type primary-net5 isdn incoming-voice voice no cdp enable
Re: Configuration help with France Telecom T2 connection
I believe the root cause of my issue was physical. The connection from the Fance Telecom box to the router required a cross over instead of a standard T1 cable or a straight through. If you are still having issues - let me know and perhaps paste in your config.
