Configure a phone for pick up calls in a call pickup group but not vice versa.

I want to allow the secretary to pick up calls from a groups of devices in a call pickup group but not vice versa.

I have CUM 7.1.3 and the phone are 7962 with an expansion module 7915.

You can configure a PickupGroup with a Partition which is reachable only from the secretary IP Phone's CSS only.

You only need one new Partition and one new CSS.

For Call group configuration just follow the below

1- Create new partition. and create new CSS -which will include the new patition

2- Make sure the call pickup group numbers does not overlap with the exiting dial plan

2- under call pickup group select the same partition on step 1.

3- Go to phone and use CSS which used on step 1.
