Configure Call between 2 Call manager

Dear All,

I have a question how to configure one call manager to connect to other call manager on different location through internet. So user from one site can make call to other user extension at different site/location. What protocol that will be used, is it SIP, H.323, or other protocol. Please advice. Thank you for your help.

Hi Chris,

If you will have a VPN connection between those sites you can use Inter-Cluster trunk. In this case phone's IP addresses must communicate between your sites. If not, you may want to use a CUBE(Cisco Unified Border Element). With CUBE media packets can flow through (you are hiding the networks from each other so you don't need full communications between two networks). All media packets will have CUBE's IP address.
