Hi,

I want to integrate Cisco Unity connection 7.0.2 on a CCM 7.0.2, Demo license.

I've followed the Integration document (SCCP Intergration for CUC).

But after configuring Voicemail parameters in the Voicemail Menu (ports, MWI, Pilot, Profile) and application Server : nothing appear.

So what I have to do so that all ip phones can call the voicemail.

Hi!

If you are trying to import the users from CUCM to CUC via AXL (Application Server) you might want to check the following:

1. Open the CCM Serviceability web page --> Tools --> Service Activation and activate the AXL Web service, which is deactivated by default.

2. Go to CCM Admin --> User Management --> End User

Make sure the users that will be imported to Unity Connection are already configured.

NOTE: Make sure ALL the users have a Primary Extension, if not the import will fail!

3. Check the Device association and make sure the user has a device associated with it.

*** On Unity Connection ***

1. You must have the CUCM integration already running.

2. Select Telephony Integrations --> Phone System --> Select your CUCM integration --> Edit --> Cisco Callamanager AXL Servers

3. Fill in the following parameters:

CCM IP address

Port 8443 for SSL

Port 8080 for non-SSL

Username: CCMAdministrator or any user you have configured on CCM that has access to the directory.

Note: This is Case Sensitive

Password:

Then click "Save" and click on the Test button. You should see something like:

"Test message successfully sent to AXL server X.X.X.X:8443"

4. Go to Templates--> User Templates and select or create one user template that will be used for the imported users. If you don't

configure a User Template, when importing the Callmanager Users you will get this message:

"No User Templates were found for the selected phone system"

5. Go to Tools--> Import Callmanager Users Select your CCM 5.X server and click on "Find", then select the users to be imported.

6. You can also synchronize the users if you change something on CCM admin page (for example, extension, name, etc) with the "Synch CallManager Users" option.

Hope this helps :)

Regards,

Teresa.

I've already followed this method but i can't call the voicemail till now.

are there something to configure in the Directory number > Voice Mailbox

I've tried to configure this mailbox, but the DNs were in conflict with voicemail port.

The Unity connection can connect to the CCM

I can import users from CCM.

But when I call the voicemail pilot number, the phone send busy call. I've tried with all ports but it have the same problem.

Is is a problem of name resolution?

How the CCM can know where the destination pattern goes?

i.e When I call the Voicemail pilot, the call should go to the CUC server.

The problem was in the port group configuration.

The document SCCP Integration guide doesn't say it.

The doc said :

"The voice mail server name must match the Device Name Prefix field in

Cisco Unity Connection on the Port Group Basics page for the voice messaging ports.

"

The after verification,

the Device Name Prefix field in

Cisco Unity Connection must match with the Port-Name Prefix in the CCM.
