Configuring DN to forward to outside number

I have a user that will not have an IP Phone but needs a DN on the CallManager, I need to configure the DN to forward all calls to his cell phone number. I can make this work when I have the extension associated with a device but as soon as I disassociate the DN from the device you hear "Your call cannot be completed..." from CUCM. I have check to make sure that the Active Checkbox is marked under the DN configuration. We are running CUCM

In addition to great suggestions here, +5 for Java and Rob, you should be able to use the unassociated DN as well, just make sure you have proper CSS assigned to it.

HTH,

Chris

Rob, accidentally rated you with +4, any idea how to adjust it, sorry buddy :-(

Hi Jeff,

I've done this before using CTI-RP's (CTI Route Points) and it worked swell

Cheers!

Hey Chris,

No worries my friend

It probably wasn't worth a 5 anyway I liked your idea better (+5)

Cheers!

Huff

Looks like you cannot change it, you get +5 extra for my clumsiness
