I would need your help in configuring our (SIP-)door-bell to ring/call (inbound) to predefined ephones. We have a CME 9.1 on a 2900 Router - private IP: 10.200.200.14 We have a door-bell which is (successfully) registered as a SIP-Phone (IP: 10.200.200.16) We already succeed in calling the doorbell with "700" from our inside-located ephones (we can hear/speak to the external Person at the doorbell) CME-Configuration: voice register global mode cme source-address 10.200.200.14 port 5060 max-dn 144 max-pool 24 authenticate register hold-alert tftp-path flash: create profile sync 0057322453052382 voice register dn 2 number 700 name GSPA no-reg voice register pool 2 id mac 0012.3456.9298 number 1 dn 2 dtmf-relay sip-kpml username 700 password *********** codec g711ulaw no vad We have manually entered this dial-peer: ! dial-peer voice 700 voip description *** GSPA-Test *** destination-pattern 700 session protocol sipv2 session target ipv4:10.200.200.14 incoming called-number 700 dtmf-relay sip-notify codec g711ulaw fax rate disable no vad ! ------------------------------------ k2net-ipt01#sho voice register pool 2 Pool Tag 2 Config: Mac address is 0012.3456.9298 Number list 1 : DN 2 Proxy Ip address is 0.0.0.0 Current Phone load version is VoIP Guard DTMF Relay is enabled, sip-kpml Call Waiting is enabled DnD is disabled Video is disabled Camera is disabled Busy trigger per button value is 0 keep-conference is enabled registration expires timer max is 3600 and min is 60 username 700 password ext700 Lpcor Type is none Transport type is udp service-control mechanism is not supported registration Call ID is 905639817 Registration method: per line Privacy feature is not configured. What do we have to configure to be able to hear the doorbell ringing (as f.e. a button on our ephones? But how should we do this because the number 700 (door-bell) ist not an ephone-dn - it's a dial peer.... ? What do we have to configure on our ephones? We don't understand if now something is missing or misconfigured. Any help very (!) appreciated, best regards, Georg

Can you provide more detail on the make / model / etc of your doorbell?

Are you abel to set it to dial a specific extension when the button is pressed?

hi guys,

it is a "TURMET DIALOG" door bell, Model make IPDP1145. Our ephones are from 7960 up to 7970. thx for any hints!

Having a quick look through the Manual for the 1145, section 3.2.4 (Page 40) shows where you set the IP addresses (or extension numbers) for each of the buttons on the door bell.

Usually those devices will have a web page where you can configure the SIP info and also set the destination number to call when the button is pressed.
