Perform the platform install on the VM for the *exact same version and build*, take a DRS backup, unplug the MCS node from the network, perform platform configuration (e.g. IP, hostname, etc) on the VM, wait for node to complete install, perform a DRS restore.
If you move the publisher all of the LIC files on it must be rehosted. You would need to attach them or include your Cisco Sales Order numbers to an email destined for GLO: firstname.lastname@example.org. In the case of Connection the subscriber has it's own license for HA and must also be rehosted. If you want to get this knocked out ahead of time you can use the Answer File Generator to get the license MACs that you'll need GLO to rehost to.
