I am running CUCM 9.1. I have a requirement for establishing an automatic meet me conference without having to press the meet me button. So basically we have a meet me configured for x7110. Currently we press the meet me softkey and dial 7110 to establish the conference. I would like to be able to just dial 7110 (without the meet me softkey) or a speed dial if possible. Has anybody done this before? Is it possible?
This could be achieved via use of an MCU Conference bridge. You would then define a route pattern that dials the MCU. The MCU will need to be configured to dynamically create ad-hoc meetings. The ad-hoc meeting can be used for voice and video.
