CSCsl24795 - Phones are subject to codec lock due to call recording feature

This is an enhancement bugID, I believe. Does anyone have an idea as to when/where this enhancement will be incorporated? It affects SPANless recording in a multi-codec environment and the ability to transfer a call from a recorded agent to another recorded agent.

For what it's worth, it's now 2018, and this is still a problem in CUCM 11.x with IP Phones on 11.x firmware.
