Because of this problem I am not able to configure JTAPI Trigger.

wasiim,

You do not need to create cti rp in call manager. Just add the jtapi trigger in crs and it will automatically create the cti rp in callmanager and associate the cti rp with the jtapi usser.

Lets backoff a little and do basic troubleshooting.

Are your cti ports (call controll ports) registerd in callmanager ?

Can you check this?

Did you create this RP in CRA or CM? You need to create it in CRA, also the error most likely indicates that you are adding a device with a DN which aleady existis, run dial-plan report to ensure there is no conflict.

Look into MIVR logs for more details.

HTH,

Chris

I have created the CTI RP on call manager and i have provided the correct ip address in CRA. I dont have LDAP, i m using Callmanger database.

I got error when i try to add the JTAPI trigger. There is no DN conflict. I am using entirely different range.

Please see attachement for MIVR logs. I did the following steps.

1. install the CM.

add devices, users and do the basic internal IPT Calls.

2. Then install the CRA on the same callmanger machine.

3. I add the JTAPI user and CTI RP IN CM

4. Then make the JTAPI Provider in CRA and gave the IP of CM there.

5. Then creat the JTAPI Call control group, and make 100 CTI ports.

6. After all this when i go for the JTAPI trigger it gave me error.

I have removed the users, cti ports everthing that i configured in CRA,

I followed your pattern and it is working fine for me. Thanks for the support, but now when i dial the 777 from IP phone that is route pattern,

i got nothing, please tell me what to do next.

wasiim,

what do you want to happen when you dial the CTI RP.

CTI RP or Jtapi triggers are used in CRS to invoke scripts/application already written to do certain things...

Do you have your trigger pointing to an application in crs?

I want that when user dial 7777 they will hear a recorded prompt like

What we need is very simple:

- Callers should hear a welcome prompt

- press 1 to hear message #1

- press 2 to hear message #2

- press 3 to hear message #3

- press 0 to go to operator

I am using default values for langauge and application is test script.

any link and related document will be highly appreciated.

Wassim,

Before you create Jtapi Triggers, you need to confgiure

1. Your CRS server

2. Your crs cluster.

For your crs server, you need to check that you have configured your Jtapi provider and your RM jtapi provider.

2. On your CRS cluster, you need to set up your LDAp server information.

Let me know if you have done all these

are those CTI RP attached to the JTAPI user???

if this helps, please rate

Jamie,

He is unable to create the CTI RP. Usually when you create the triggers in CRS, it automatically creates the CTI RP in CCM and associates them with the jtapi user
