Hi,

I installed CUCIMOC 7.1.2 and works well in deskphone and Softphone both mode except MWI in deskphone mode.

when I have new voicemail,

1. deskphone mode - physical IP Phone has MWI ON but CUCIMOC's MWI OFF

2. softphone mode - CUCIMOC's MWI ON

why the CUCIMOC's MWI OFF when deskphone mode? Is this expected behavior?

Advise please,

Yes. This is expected.

Desk phone mode is CTI control. If you have ever used Attendant Console(AC) or Cisco Agent Desktop(CAD), you should understand the concept. MWI will not be delivered to CUCIMOC via CTI/JATPI. Just like it won't be delivered to AC or CAD.

Soft phone mode is SIP phone, which means, the CUCIMOC itself is a phone (end point). MWI will be delivered to end points.

Hi,

I've got the same problem. SO there is no way to make CUCIMOC's MWI works in deskphone mode ??
