CUCM 10 and MCS Machines

Dear Cisco,

As per the documentation of CUCM 10.x, it does not support the MCS machines anymore, only virtualized. How could this be practicle and logical? What about those who have bought Cisco MCS I5 machines with 3 yrs UCSS just last year and now you telling us that its not gonna take version 10.x on it? Many people would have made sizable investment on such setups... Is that all obsolete now?

This does not sound justified to me. There has to be some way out.

Unfortunately there is no other way besides staying on version 9. This is a decision made by Cisco and one if those that will not be reversed, if you think about it hardware refresh is pretty short these days and virtualization of UC apps has been around for over 3 years since version 8, if you bought new servers during this time whoever convinced you to buy MCS should be blamed.
