Hi Tommy,

It looks like you may be hitting this bug;

DTMF failure when FAC/CMC is enabled on route pattern
CSCun34848

Symptom:
When FAC/CMC is enabled at the route pattern level, DTMF will not work.

You get the following error after a digit is pressed by the IP Phone.

01509471.001 |22:05:21.251 |AppInfo |StationInit: (0000084) KeypadButton kpButton=8.
01509478.001 |22:05:21.251 |AppInfo |FacCmcManager::wait_SsUserInfoInd - route by party failed! ss=18210643

Conditions:
FAC/CMC should be enabled at the route pattern level

Workaround:
Do not use FAC/CMC

FAC is before you even try to route the call to any GW, it doesn't matter what you use to make the calls.

What phone are you using??

Is it directly registered to CUCM??

What's the call flow??

If you dial the FAC, and press # does it route the call???

HTH

java

if this helps, please rate

Phone type I'm using is 6941, CIPC, 7912

all phone directly registered to CUCM

call flow is

call 9XXXX --> enter FAC XXX --> call connected , BUT if the connected call have IVR , and must choose for any menu , when input digits , there is no respond at all . i have tried many call that have IVR but none working.

if call flow without FAC it is working fine .

Regards

Tommy.

Can you describe the full call flow including what devices it's going through?  You mention above an MGCP FXO port being part of the call flow.

6921 sccp --> route pattern --> call 9.XXX --> enter FAC XXX --> Route List (RL1) --> Route Group (RG1) in this route group i specify only to one FXO port --> Voice Gateway 2911 (MGCP Router with FXO)--> PSTN

Regards,

Tommy

Could you please use the command debug mgcp packets and check whether you receiving any digit on the router when pressed for IVR menu.

Also check the DTMF config on the router and whether MRGL is applied to the MGCP router.

Please provide details if possible traces.

Is CUCM cluster need to be restarted after install the device pack?

Hi Kelvin,

I don't believe that it's a Device Pack that needs to be installed to fix this issue but rather a full CUCM SR/Patch....
