CUCM 5.0(4) Phones Trying to register

I have a Cm Cluster having one Pub and one Sub.It was working smooth last one year.last 2-3 weeks it started making problems without changing anything in the systems.The problem is All phones will go to registering state untill I restart the call managers.After restarting the servers it will work for 4-5 days without problems.But again all phones will go to registering state.

Is it a bug, please help me anyone knows this problem earlier..

CUCM 5.0(4) is not our more stable version.

Please go at least to 5.1(3) latest SR or 6.1.2

Thanks for your kind info.

Do I need to purchase any license or i can just do a maintenance upgrade using downloading the patches from cco login.

Fro 5.X you can download them directly from CCO.

For 6.x You need feature license

Just check the release notes if we have any caveats from 5.0(4) to 5.1(3) directly.
