we are going to change the prefix of the telephone number. The existing DID number is 2576 XXXX and the new number will be 2389 XXXX. we require the below mentioned services to be ready before implementation.
01. We have to announce a voice message stating that the number will be changed to this number to new number.
02. After change to the new telephone line, if anyone calls to old number, first the voice message has to say the number changed information, secondly its automatically forward to new number or the voice message has to say press 9 or any number forward to new number.
CUCM Version : 7.1.3 Cisco 3925 voice gateway for the E1 lines.
So Please advice how can we implement the replace prefix with new . Extension number will be same for all the users .only change in prefix.
You'll need to use BAT to change them, there are plenty of threads with more info on that, do a quick search, and you'll also need to build a TCL script to give any of the messages you want if all you have is CUCM.
