CUCM 7.1.3 on MCS-7835H Suddenly Rebooted on its own

Hi all,

I've got a CUCM 7.1.3 cluster with 4 servers (1Pub and 3Subs). Suddenly one of the Subs rebooted on its own. Has anyone run into this issue ? Any ideas what might be the root cause ? or where to go about finding the root cause ?

Thanks all in advance !!

Danny

You can use RTMT tool to check the logs before your SUB rebooted. I would do also a show hardware and get the version of the firmware on the Raid controller. There are some well known Bugs with earlier versions. You can paste the output here and we can tell of it is the case or not.

Re: CUCM 7.1.3 on MCS-7835H Suddenly Rebooted on its own

Doesn't look like there is an issue with this hardware. I would still check the logs using RTMT for any errors before the reboot. Also, this could be caused by the environment ; UPS, power issues, etc.
