CUCM 7 - Use a Softkey as a Speed dial to a help desk

Hi,

I Have a customer who wants to use a softkey as a speed dial to their help desk. has anyone used the Softkey and not a button to do this. if so how?

Hi

No - customizable softkeys (outside of XML services) aren't available in current versions, even if you are a developer.

Line buttons, or nothing...

Or you could have an item under the Services menu to reach it (point a service at an XML file that calls a 'dial' URI with the number).
