CUCM / 7925G - Suppress messages while on a call?

At our hospitals, our nurses use 7925G's as phones and message alerting systems for monitoring patients.

Their biggest complaint is that, when they're on a call, the "staff assist" or any type of nurse call messages are very loud.  (which they are)

Can anyone think of a way to suppress, silence, or delay these messages when they're in an active call?  Maybe even have the message vibrate instead of ring?

They won't turn off the ringers because they won't be able to hear the phone.

Any idea would help.

I suppose that is a third-part application ?

If so, you should contact the developer with the request.

CUCM / 7925G - Suppress messages while on a call?

I'm working with them.  They say that the "messages" come into the CUCM as text messages.

I believe I need to find a way to have the CUCM change the ringtone or something while the phone is in use.

That's my guess.
