CUCM 8.0.3, extension mobility issue with SIP

Hi,

Am at the end of a CUCM installation and have am experiencing an issue with Extension mobility in SIP phones.

When a user logs in,  instead of just restartin the phone actually resets and then comes up with the users profile.

Details which might be useful:

- Migrated ip phones from SCCP to SIP using the (wonderful ) migration tool.

- Version of the CUCM 8.0.3

- Firmware on the phones SIPXX.9.0.3S

- Configured logout profiles for phones as well.

- Just received news that another CUCM implementation v8.5 the same behaviour with SIP phones and extension mobility.

Has anyone come across this issue and successfully solved it?

Hi guys,

I resolved the problem, or better I found out what is causing the problem. I have a language pack installed in the CUCM (BR Portuguese).

Removed the user locale and any other locale to "none", i.e. the locales under default device profiles, user device profiles, user profiles and any other you may think of.

Restarted the ip phone and when I logged in and out the phone no longer goes nutts.

I've heard the same occurs with the spanish language pack.

Hope the info is useful hopefully Cisco will correct the issue sometime.
