CUCM 8.0.3 - One button transfer to ext.

Hello,

Wondering if there is a way to configure one button on 7900 phones that will divert the call to another extension.  I.e.  CAll comes into a manager, manager doesn't want to answer it, but wants his/her assistant answer it.  He wants the ability to press one button which would transfer the call to his/her assistant.  From what I read Idivert will send the call to VM, I'm looking for similar behavior, but instead of VM it should go to another extension.

If there is a way to configure this or if a feature exists that can accomplish this, please let me know.

Nope, you only get iDivert, any other transfer method required you to answer the call.

They might want to try IPMA in proxy mode.

Have you checked the IPMA feature .. Since idivert mostly used to divert the call to VM .
