CUCM 8.5.1 Upgrade Issue

Hi,

Running into a problem I've never experienced before........have a CUCM on 8.5.1.11900 & looking to upgrade it to 8.5.1.12900 to avoid a bug. But the inactive partition already has 8.6.2.20000 on it and when i try to start the upgrade it just says

"The given directory was located and searched but no valid options or upgrades were available.  Note, the system cannot be downgraded so option and upgrade files for previous releases were ignored."

I am 100% in the correct directory and cannot go to 8.6.2 because the hardware does not support it.

Is there a way of deleting the inactive partition without a rebuild??

Cheers

No, there's no way to remove what's on the inactive partition.

If you have already installed the refresh cop file which allows you to upgrade to 8.6 there's no going back, once it's installed, either you reinstall or you go to 8.6
