CUCM 8.5 - C2901 MTP - BANDWIDTH ISSUE

Hello.

We are running a CUCM 8.5 cluster and we have a Cisco 2901.

The 2901 is our MTP, CFB and CUBE.

We have two interfaces Gigabit in that 2901, one interface see to the PSTN WAN and the otherone to the LAN IP Phones.

Whenever we put an inbound or outbound PSTN call, in the CUBE/MTP that call using 138 kbps (average) only for incoming traffic in both interface, but in the interfaces's switch directly connected to that 2901 only we see 85 kbps (average) in the outbound traffic.

Why the MTP generate more incomming traffic like if the C2901 re-process the RTP to use MTP,...but I don´t know that is normal or no ?

We use Software MTP G711a.

We have the same Media Resource Group for both (IP Phones and SIP Trunk)

We have check the MTP checkbox on the SIP Trunk page.

We have all regions with G711
