CUCM 8.6.1(2) No Dependency Records Call Pickup Group

Hi there,

I'm busy with installation of CUCM 8.6.1 for one of our customers. After the installation and basic configuration, I can't see Dependency Record for Call Pickup Groups. When I want to check the Dependency Record from the Drop Down menu, it says 0 Records, but in fact there are users who are members of Pickupgroup. I have 85 pickupgroups and all of them have the same issue. When I try to check the Dependency Record of other things like Device Pools, I can see all the members.

I upgraded the CUCM from 8.6.1 to 8.6.2, but it didn't help. Anybody got any idea how I can reslove this issue.

Seems like a bug. I believe you are hitting this one:

CSCts02791

Dependency records for call pickup group returns no results

Symptom:

When using the dependency records for call pickup group, the result is always "

0 Record(s) are using Call Pickup Group: "

Conditions:

This is only seen as from 7.1.5.34060-1

Workaround:

Use 7.1.5.33052-2

Further Problem Description:

This issue was caused by the checkin of CSCtc66558

I believe versions 8.0 and 8.5 are affected too, but I couldn't find a fix for 8.6. Porbably

it would be better to open a TAC request and ask for a fix or ES if available.

CUCM 8.6.1(2) No Dependency Records Call Pickup Group

But.. if you wantto know who's in what pickup group more than you want to spend this weekend upgrading your CUCM:

SSH to the server

Use this command:

run sql select n.dnorpattern as Ext_Number,n.fkroutepartition,pgn.dnorpattern as PG_Number ,p.name from pickupgrouplinemap pglm join numplan n on n.pkid = pglm.fknumplan_line join pickupgroup p on p.pkid = pglm.fkpickupgroup join numplan pgn on p.fknumplan_pickup = pgn.pkid

Other queries would get other dependencies if you need them...

Another thing to try is in bulk administration > phones > generate phone report with call pickup group name.
