CUCM 8.6 calls progressing to gateway but no CSS on line or device

CUCM 8.6.  

How is the phone making calls out when there are no css on the device or DN.  I can identify the CSS/Partition used in the CDR for the calls but don't know where the phone is getting it from?

DNA says block so no luck there.  The handset is right beside me on a 7911, I can pick it up and make calls no problem but all the settings say it should not be possible!  I have tried calling different types of number and can connect to any number out the pstn.

If I put a CSS with a blocking pattern on the line it will block the call.

Carlo - I don't understand your question - I have lots of patterns, some blocking, some routing.  The partition in which the DN resides is not associated with any pattern.

The number you are trying to dil via DNA is not a valid number. You should dial a valid number and see what pattern it matches.

Solved -

I had a 9.! pattern with no partition but has a route list.  I must have been using copy on the patterns at some point but didn't complete the work.

Therefore that 9.! pattern was being picked up by everything from CFWD to lines/phones without CSS.

Hi David.

Try to dial an external number from a phone which doesn't have any css on Device or Line.

If the call is succesfull, try to simulate it through DNA and post the result.

In DNA options, please insert all digits as dialed form the phne (for example with leading pstn access code )
