hi, we have a 4 x node cucm 8.6 cluster, that was originally installed with no domain suffix and servers defined as ip address (phones register with cucm ip, no dns). We have a requirement for users to access ccmuser page using a trusted certificate, i understand this will require all nodes to have the domain suffix set on each node when using the cli command set network domain xxxxx.xxxxxx, this command does provide a rather scary warning regards replication and certificates, i was wondering if anyone has ran this command recently? I just want confirm that this will only impact intercluster traffic and that phones will still register via cucm ip (no phone dns required).
thanks in advance

You can certainly make this happen but I recommend that you ake a look at the following link on Security by Default in preparation: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-17679#Changing_Host_Names_or_Domain_Names
