CUCM 8 Disater Recover System MA does Auto Backup of SUBs of WAN

NOTE: The Disaster Recovery System performs a cluster-level backup, which means that it collects backups for all servers in a Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster to a central location (where pub is being backed up) and archives the backup data to physical storage device or network share

This is proving to be an issue with one customer.

The master agent automatically pulls the backups over WAN links to the central location

Two questions

  1. Is there a way to have remote CUCM subscribers back up locally and not send to central location?
  2. Is this documented - anywhwere on CCO [ design for stopping SUB backups having over wan)

Here is a good document on DRS.  In short it looks like from the document there is not a way do a a local backup of one node
