Hello,
Doing a CUCM installation in VM, UCS 220 Server, Installed with OVA 9.1 v8_v1.7. Soon after deploying the ova, i had edited the HDD size from 110GB to 250GB, and begun the installation for cucm9.1. When i finish the installation its shows error: 'unaligned partition' in CLI as well as CUCM Administration page.
What i noticed is, if i wont edit, there wont be error at all. So if i install without editing the HD Size, can i edit the HD size and make it larger after the CUCM installation? Will it make any impact on the system later?
tnx
Bobby

Hi Bobby,
Just thought you should see this clip as well in addition to the
excellent info from our friend Java (+5 Java-man!)
"The VMware installation information line will indicate "ERROR-UNSUPPORTED: Partitions unaligned". If your virtual machine is in this state, Cisco cannot provide support for performance issues."
From these bug notes;
Include partition alignment check in "VMware Installation" CLI & GUI
Just curious as well as to why you are using Unrestricted? It is a bit uncommon in
most installs
Cheers!
