CUCM 9/10 - Removing Devices from An Application User
Dear forum users.
I have a client CUCM cluster - System version: 126.96.36.19900-11
and a lab CUCM cluster - System version: 10.5.1.10000-7
In both of these CUCMs, I have the same very simple problem.
We have an application user with every single IP phone until its control, 2K+. If you want to remove one of these devices, it would seem you have to manually scroll through the list of controlled devices until you find its MAC address, quite a time consuming and tedious process when it is 1 of 2000.
I swear in previous versions of CUCM you could click on Find More Phones and all the currently selected devices would be visible and available to remove if required??

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
