If the user is ldap integrated and you have ldap authentication configured you would not be able to change the password in CUCM, can you make sure ldap authentication is turned on?

Hi Aslam,

To add more, prior to CUCM 9,

a. User cannot be added to CUCM, if LDAP was enabled.

b. ENd user need to be defined on LDAP and then, do the synchronisation.

But with CUCM 9

a. Administrator can have both Local and LDAP synced users.

b. we can modify local users and  roles assigned to LDAP users.

c. further, administrator can also convert LDAP user to local user.

d. Under the End Users page , u can differentiate Active Local users and Active LDAP synchronised users.

regds,

aman
