CUCM AND SRST ROUTER

Hi

We have a CUCM with SRST router.The connection is MGCP between CUCM and SRST router

The router has 4 bris for the incoming /outgoing calls .....

The issue is with the DIDs for the outgoing calls :

For example we have one extension with number 0917 and the external did for this extension is 22988417.

Now because the phones are register to CUCM so the translation patterns in the router are not matching for the incoming/outgoing calls

For the incoming calls we have a translation pattern in the CUCM and when you call 22988417 {the provider send to us only the last 4 digits (8417) { and then the call translated to 0917

The problem is For outgoing calls: The number that is shown is the pilot number for the outgoing calls and not the specific DID for each extension

Notes:

In the Directory Number Configuration for the extension 0917 we have configured in the field External Phone Number Mask the number 22988417 without any success..Also we have tried and the last four digits only (8417) also without success.

Do you believe that with h323 connection between CUCM and SRST Router will fix the issue.?

Do you have any other sugestions?

is this a normal behavior with srst router or????

Is the route patterna and/or Route List configured with "use external phone number" checkbox checked?  It needs to be.

If it is, can you post "debug isdn q931"?
