Hi all,
I have an issue where after a CUCM upgrade (and associated firmware upgrade) the 7942 phones are not displaying missed/received calls. I've discovered that a manual factory reset fixes the issue.
My question is - can I factory reset and force a firmware re-download from CUCM instead of having to visit every phone and do it manually? They are spread over multiple sites so it will be a bit of work. If not, could I change the firmware load information in CUCM to force them to downgrade to an earlier version, then change it back so they upgrade again? I'd rather not do it that way if possible...
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Factory reset has to be done on the phone.
You can change the FW load info either in the defaults or per device.

Another way to do it.. change device defaults, and reset via the device pool. That will save you the headache of going to individual phones.
