Hello, I have a 7940 phone registered with CUCM 8.6.
I am trying to get MeetMe conferencing working.
I have confgiured my MeetMe number and got the server settings correct in CUCM, but I cannnot seem to make the Confrn softkey appear on my 79400 phone.( I understand you need to press a Confrn softket first, and then the MeetMe number to initiate a conference).
I have been into the softkey template area and chosen all the varieties of softkey template i.e:
Standard Assistant
Standard Chaperone Phone
Standard Feature
Standard Manager
Standard Protected Phone
Standard Shared Mode Manager
Standard User
However none of these have the "Confrn" softkey.
Can someone please tell me where I am going wrong ?
Thanks kindly.

- dial meetme number
Participant:
-Dial meetme number
Cnfr softkey appears during an active call

To set up a MeetMe conference you go off hook, press the MeetMe softkey then dial the number of the MeetMe conference number that you want to join.
Once the MeetMe conference is initiated other participants just dial the conference number to join.
You should not need to use the Confrn softkey at all.
The document at the link below should help. It is a bit old but mostly still relevent.
