CUCM Dial Issues

Hi,

We have CUCM 8.6.1 and we have strange problem. On some phones and some Directory Numbers, when we push New Call Button on phone and Dial Directory Number, phone doesn't ring about 7-10 seconds and then rings. But if we dial another directory number, it works without problems.

Do you know what may be the problem?

7-10 seconds seems a timeout, you must have some overlapping patterns, with some extensions.

For example you might have extensions 2300, 2100 and a route pattern 21XXXXXXXX

2300 will dial correct, but 2100 will also match the route pattern, so waits for time out.

We don't have any overlapping patterns. For example one extension is 446. some phones dial without problems, but others not.

Then you have to enable logging, and check what is the difference between one call and the other.

Still 7-10 seconds seems a time out, do the phone have the same CSS?

Or just give (temporary) some phone the same CSS and see if there is difference.

Here is call log. I dialed from 730 to 446, which had problem. Then I dialed 446 to 733 and it worked normally:

I'm new in CUCM world so I don't now much

They have same CSS...

I solved the problem. Reason was overlapping pattens. I had Call Park pattern 44XX.
