CUCM - Fallback Routing to Next Route group

Hi All,

How cucm will reroute call to the next routgroup  list when the route group trunk not reachable. We have the mixure of h323 & Sip trunks in our routelist.

Route listRoute GroupRG Members
Route   list TestRG AH323 GW 1
H323 GW 2
RG BSIP Trunk
RG CSIP Trunk
RG DSIP Trunk

All the 4 route groups mapped to different Service Provider. If RG A , RG B, RG C  devices are not reachable due to WAN outage , calls are not rerouted to RG D automatically .

What is the default behaviour of CUCM on this case ?

CUCM Version 7.1.5

Thanks in Advance

Re: CUCM - Fallback Routing to Next Route group

You need to change service parameters for call manager "stop routing calls on unallocated / busy"

Re: CUCM - Fallback Routing to Next Route group

In addition to the service parameters mentioned above that you need to set it to false

If you want to exclude RG D from the call routing then make sure it is not listed under this route list

Hope this help

Re: CUCM - Fallback Routing to Next Route group

Hi All,

Rerouting is happeneing for Busy / unallocated or out of bandwidth.

If the ITSP trunk is not reachable issue due to connectivity issue how cucm wiil behaviour.

In cucm system guide they menstioned , if the route list locks in to route group it can't come back.

Thanks
