CUCM forwarding only incoming internal calls not external calls

Hello,

We have CUCM version 8.0.  If I have a translation pattern that fowards an internal incoming call from one number to another.  Is there a way in call manager to only foward internal calls to the other number and not foward external incoming calls have it ring on the first number that is been translated?

CSS and partitions, just don't allow the inbound CSS from the GW to hit the TP.

Hi.

As Jaime correctly suggested (+5 J), you have to work with partition and CSS.

Eg.

You have a DN 8000 in partition "Internal"

Than a TP 8000 is in partition "Redirect" which translates 8000 into 9000 Partition Internal  searching on CSS CSS_INT

You have to configure a CSS Eg. "From_GW" containing partition "Internal" only

In this case VG will hit only the directory number and not the Translation Pattern.

For sure you have to assign a valid CSS to  Phones DN in order to hit  "Redirect" partition before "Internal" partition in order to hit TP before the DN
