cucm ibm server 7925I4

Hi, Seems as though I'm having a ghard drive failure

on one of my servers. Trouble is that I'm not sure I'm can identify the correct drive

- 2 in system. Can you point to drive in bay 0 or 1 please?

Re: cucm ibm server 7925I4

I am not sure from the output you have pasted. I have seen syslog messages like the following

Problem due to Hard Drive on ATA1 :

Jul 11 00:00:42 PPHUCMPub kern 3 kernel: ata1: translated ATA stat/err
0x51/40 to SCSI SK/ASC/ASCQ 0x3/11/04
Jul 11 00:00:42 PPHUCMPub kern 4 kernel: ata1: status=0x51 { DriveReady
SeekComplete Error }
Jul 11 00:00:42 PPHUCMPub kern 4 kernel: ata1: error=0x40 {
UncorrectableError }

If you run a 'show hardware', does it show any relevant information about the hard drives and their states ?

Also, keep the following defect in mind : http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCti52867.

If the model is set to WD2502ABYS AND the firmware version is set to 3B04, the server is impacted by the
defect.

Re: cucm ibm server 7925I4

Well the server itself had "hung" but after a re-boot - no errors were found from a "show hardware" command
