CUCM/IMP/UCCX ICCS bandwith calc

Hello,

I have the following scenario, and i need to calculate the ICCS traffic and additional traffics like database.

All the solutions will be at version 11.5 or 11.6 (UCCX)

Datacenter:

2 x CUCM (1 Pub 1 Sub)
1 X UCCX HA
2 X Cisco IMP

First Remote Site with Local Redundancy:

1 x CUCM Sub
1 X UCCX HA
1 X Cisco IMP Sub

Second Remote Site with Local Redundancy:

1 x CUCM Sub
1 X UCCX Stand Alone
1 X Cisco IMP Sub

CUCM split cluster bandwidth requirements:

ICCS real-time bandwidth - 1.5 Mbps

Database/firewall synchronization bandwidth - 1.5 Mpbs for each remote SUB in your case just one so 1.5 it is

Total CUCM requirements = 6 Mbps

My doubt is how to calculate the Total bandwidth required between the sites = (Total ICCS bandwidth + Total database bandwidth)

UCCX:

based on 10K BHCA  (How can i calculate this?)

UCCX to UCCX server synchronization - 1.2 Mbps

UCCX to UC Manager JTAPI - 0.8 Mbps

Total = 2 Mbps

All IM and Presence nodes must have a minimum bandwidth of 5 Mbps, and an additional 5 Mbps for the cluster for database synchronization.

Total of = 10 Mbps for each remote subscriber IMP

Am i correct with my results?

Hi Leonardo,

Based on the design/admin guides for CUCM, UCCX and IM&P your assumptions look correct as these numbers are defined exactly as you stated.
