CUCM IN HA(Cluster mode)

Hi all

i need your opinion regarding the below

Usually with CUCM in cluster mode we use as primary the subscriber to register their the ipphones , publisher is a primary for the tftp and for the other jobs

The above senario is when the cluster is over the lan

Now what is the best senario if the cluster is over the wan

We can use the above senario or ??

Hi

Sure - you use the same roles for the servers in the cluster so would use a subscriber for call processing.

If you mean splitting the cluster over a WAN, you need to be aware of the minimum latency and bandwidth requirements for traffic between the CUCM servers. This is discussed in the SRND.
