CUCM LDAP sync and default group membership?

Is it (still) the case that there is no facility for automatically associating new incoming LDAP users from the DirSync process with a default set of permissions (user groups, i.e. Standard CCM End User) on CUCM?

Sadly that's still something you need to do manually after the LDAP sync
