Dear Friends,

I am having hard time  as my company decided to configure their new site using SIP. I am completely new to SIP and require good support.

My senario:

Cucm 6.3 ----->  H.323 gateway(2821 with CUBE supported) ----> SIP service provider

Service provider will terminate their link on to our data T1 or to ethernet port.

Can anyone helpme with the configuration at the callmanager and gateway side.

Thanks,

Mary Phills

Mary,

A good place to start would be the Cisco interoperability portal
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/solutions/ns340/ns414/ns728/networking_solutions_products_genericcontent0900aecd805bd13d.html

Look through the example titles for something sinilar to your setup
You probably wont find an exact match but the basics will be the same.

E.g. you may need to use a CUCM 7 doc although you are on CUCM 6.

Example

CUCM 6.1.5 -- SIP -- CUBE--- SIP---TELUS
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/collateral/ns340/ns414/ns728/ns833/1035150.pdf

Also you mention your gateway/cube is existing as H323.

May be b.etter to change to CUCM----SIP TRUNK ---CUBE---SIP---SIP PROVIDER

(Less protocols)

Mary,

Yes leave the phones as SCCP (Skinny)

Just convert the H323 gateway to SIP working on both the router and the CUCM

This will reduce the protocols that you need on your setup.

This info is usually in the links I provided.
