Hi All,

I am using CUCM 8.5. I have a block of number from 67030000 to 67030999. For all this numbers called via PSTN the call should land on 67030000(reception). For the numbers 67030300 and 67030400 the call should land on two different locations. The translation pattern for 67030300 and 67030400 I have created and the calls are successfully landing on the other locations. But for other numbers the translations are not happening.

Thanks & Regards,

Fawaz

Hi,

The transdlation pattern 67030XXX

Called Party transform mask 67030000

Your other 2 patterns should be configured as full digit pattens 67030300 & 67030400

This is the translation pattern i have created for 67030300.

Translation Pattern: 30300

Partition:PSTN-INTERNAL

CSS:PSTN-INTERNATIONAL

Calling Party Transform Mask:67030300

Prefix Digits:9

Called Party Transform Mask:0015126021000#

Prefix Digits:9

This is the sample translation pattern I have created for other numbers.

Translation Pattern: 300XX

Partition:PSTN-INTERNAL

CSS:PSTN-INTERNATIONAL

Calling Party Transform Mask:670303XX

Prefix Digits:9

Called Party Transform Mask:30000

According to the 2nd translation pattern configuration, when i call on 67030022 the call call should land on 67030000. But instead the call is landing on 67030022.

Hi,

I agree with you.

Your 2nd pattern should derive 30000

I think you need to use the Dial Number Analyser and see what is going on.

Yes  the second pattern should drive 30000. But it is not happening. The DNA test is done and below is the result for the second pattern.

What ever the number may be as far as my translation pattern is 300XX, all the dialed numbers from 30000 to 30099 the call should land on 30000. Which is not happening.

Hi,

Can you delete the TP 300XX

Can you then search for DNs starting 300 in the route plan

Hi,

The TP 300XX is deleted. I searched for the DNs starting 300 in the route plan. I got 47 results on that.

Fawaz

Hi,

Are any of these 47 other TPs that would match 30066 for example

Alex

Regards, Alex. Please rate useful posts.

No. I have only two TPs right now in CUCM. One is 30300 and 30400.

Hi,

Lets add a simple TP with only these settings.

Pattern 300XX

Partition INTERNAL

CSS:PSTN-INTERNATIONAL

Called Party Transform Mask:30000

Test this from a INTERNAL (Partition) phone

Then the gateway

Hi,

That is done. The same result. The number is not getting translated. I created a TP 300XX. and called party Transform mask: 30000.

I tested internally. I called 30066, the call is landing on 30066.

I tested using pstn. Used my handphone. again the call is landing on 30066.

Fawaz

Hi,

This is because 30066 is defined as a phone line DN

Can you test again with a spare 300XX number.
