CUCM6.1- No DN configured

Hi!

I have a device that won't receive calls, will just start them. Do I need to configure a Directory number?

yes, otherwise how would CUCM know how to route a call?

if you don't want the device to receive calls simply do not configure the DN partition in any CSS
